It is with great sadness that the Australian Province announces the death of Fr Donal Madigan OMI, on 14th August 2020.
Fr Donal Madigan was born on the 20th May 1937 in Dublin. He joined the Oblates in 1956 and was ordained on 23rd February 1963.
Fr Donal served in Oblate parishes around Australia and in Auckland New Zealand for all his priestly life; he was a gentle genuine caring priest, vitally interested in people and their well being. He lived a full and active life as a faithful Oblate.
The Australian Province thanks God for the life of Fr Donal Madigan OMI. May he rest in peace.
